DuoCort awarded 3.4 MSEK by VINNOVA

DuoCort AB, one of PULS portfolio companies, has been awarded 3.4 MSEK
by VINNOVA, the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems, to
co-finance the early phases of one of DuoCort’s R&D projects. DuoCort will use the VINNOVA funding to help develop
and test a glucocorticoid pharmaceutical product for use in emergency
situations where acute glucocorticoid therapy is required, such as
acute adrenal crisis, anaphylactic reactions, acute allergic and
asthmatic reactions, trauma, and other acute conditions where the
systemic administration of corticosteroids is indicated.
